IoT & Edge Computing

Where the physical world meets the cloud

SCADA integration, sensor networks, edge processing, real-time telemetry. We connect physical assets to the cloud and keep them connected — across thousands of devices, most of them somewhere with terrible signal and worse access.

Connectivity in the field is never guaranteed

Real assets don't sit in data centres. They sit in substations, depots, ships and basements — places where the network drops, the temperature swings, and nobody is going to drive two hours to reboot a gateway because you asked nicely. So we build for exactly that: process and buffer at the edge, fail to a safe state, and sync back up the moment the link returns, as though nothing ever happened.

“The grid edge doesn't forgive flaky software. Buffer locally, fail safe, and sync when you can — that's what keeps a deployment alive.”

From brief to working outcome

01

Sense

Choose and integrate the right sensors and gateways for the asset and environment.

02

Edge

Process and buffer at the edge so the system works through connectivity gaps.

03

Connect

Stream securely over cellular, powerline or 5G with the right protocols.

04

Ingest

Frequently asked questions

What happens when the network drops?

The system keeps working. We buffer data on the device — up to twelve months in our shipping deployment — and process at the edge, then sync securely to the cloud when connectivity returns. Safety-critical logic fails to a safe state.

Can you integrate with our existing SCADA and field equipment?

Yes. We integrate SCADA, PLCs and building management systems and bridge protocols like MODBUS, MQTT and IEEE C37.118 synchrophasor data, so new software works with the equipment you already run.

How many devices can you manage?

Thousands. We've run fleets of remote gateways and routers across 30+ sites in six countries from one place, using Azure IoT Edge for provisioning, monitoring and updates.

How fast can the edge react?

Fast enough for the grid. For frequency support we detect events on a per-cycle basis with PMU technology and dispatch in real time, automatically or under operator control.
